Chelsea Handler doesn't understand Anal Bleaching

Or as Chelsea puts it “‘I don’t understand female grooming”.

Chelsea Handler is a late night chat show host on the show Chelsea Lately and also a very good comedian who has been close to controversy in the past.

In 2011 on her show, she read a statement by a Serbian government official regarding Amy Winehouse’s performance in Belgrade – he said it was “shame and a disappointment” to which Chelsea Handler replied, “Well, so is your country”.

Now she is at it again in an interview with Glamour.com. This is what she had to say:

“First, it was laser hair removal. You put yourself through that torture, and then it’s ‘Sorry, laser hair removal’s out of style!’ And you’re like, What? So I’m not going to be tricked into this other thing. I might put a Crest Whitestrip up there, but I will not go and bleach it.”

Followed by

“My mouth has gotten me in trouble my entire life. I just happen to be making a career out of it.”

Is it a joke, not sure.

Is it as serious as the Amy Winehouse statement, no.

Is she a very funny comedian… she sure is.

I don’t take it as an attack on “anal bleaching” – shes probably trying to appeal to a new audience :)
